Special Session
Combining Mobile Learning & Cloud Computing in Education (MLCCE)
Overview
The explosion of technological advances in mobile devices that include, smart phones, iPods, laptops, netbooks, kindles and ipads facilitate our personal, professional and educational activities. The boundaries of formal and informal learning spaces are changing their shape when up-to-date technology tools and resources are employed holding considerable promises for future development and delivery in the education sectors.
The combination of mobile learning and cloud computing is a relatively new concept. The idea of cloud computing - accessing shared resources, software and information that are available on demand from the internet using mobile devices can help mobile learning overcome obstacles related to mobile computing. It is evident that this combination holds considerable promise for future development and delivery in the education sectors.
