Scope

The goal of this special session is to provide an excellent opportunity for faculty, scholars, graduate / Ph.D. students, administrators, and practitioners to learn and discuss innovative ideas, findings and outcomes of research projects, concepts, strategies, specific technologies, software, hardware, and best practices in the areas of smart learning and smart education.

Main Topics

Main topics of this special session include but are not limited to:

  • smart learning and smart education: case studies, best practices and research projects;
  • smart learning and smart education: conceptual framework, “smartness” levels and features;
  • software and hardware systems for smart university and smart classroom;
  • smart classroom: components, software, hardware, learning activities, cost-benefit analysis;
  • educational applications of smart technologies;
  • smart faculty: instructor's skills for smart education and faculty development;
  • from traditional learning to smart learning: SWOT analysis.

Submission of Papers

  • Authors are invited to submit their papers in English language through the conference submission system. Additionally, PDF version of submitted paper(s) should be emailed directly to special session chair at uskov@bradley.edu
  • All submissions must be original and should not have been published previously.
  • All papers will be peer-reviewed special session Program Committee and judged with respect to their quality, originality, and relevance.

Proceedings/Indexing

All accepted and presented at this special session papers will appear in the conference proceedings (if they have been uploaded before the deadlines). The conference proceedings will be submitted to IEEE Xplore® which ensures a wide dissemination of your valuable work. Once accepted and published (which is usually true for IMCL conference), other indexing services evaluate conferences and independently determine what they will index.
