Paper Preparation & Submission

Procedure

1. Create a user account on the ConfTool Submission Server
2. Upload
   • Structured 2-page abstract without author's names for Full Papers, Short Papers, and Posters
   • or a proposal for a Special Session
3. Wait for the review results
4. If accepted upload your complete paper
5. Wait for the review results
6. If accepted upload your final paper
7. Register for participation

Abstracts

Please submit an anonymous (without authors' names) structured abstract: 2 pages for Full Papers, Short Papers, Posters. --> Structured Abstract Template

Complete Papers for Review

Once your abstract is accepted submit the anonymous complete paper for review. --> Complete paper template

Camera-ready Papers

When your complete paper is accepted please submit your final paper in PDF and DOC/DOCX/RTF (read the remarks about final papers below). The template is basically the same as the complete paper template above, but with authors names. --> Camera-ready paper template

Important Remark for Camera-Ready/Final Papers

All presented papers will be published in the proceedings of the IMCL conference and submitted to IEEE Xplore^® (Details). For a timely production and submission of the proceedings, it is IMPORTANT that you

• respect the final deadline
• sign the electronic copyright form (on the submission server, papers without the copyright signature cannot appear in the proceedings)
• respect the template
• the paper size: A4
• empty footers (no page numbers or anything else)
• the margins (see templates)
• to leave a message in the remarks field (on the submission server, when submitting) if EACH of the authors of one paper are employees of the US government or a crown government (UK, Canada, Australia)

Upload

Please upload your contribution via the ConfTool Submission System. The copyright signature is done via this tool as well.

Submission of complete papers

The submission of complete papers (after abstract was accepted, not applicable for special sessions) is possible via a copy of the initial submission with the same number, but starting with 1xxx. Please see examples below:

• If the id of the abstract is 4 then the id of the complete paper is 1004.
• If the id of the abstract is 14 then the id of the complete paper is 1014.
• If the id of the abstract is 214 then the id of the complete paper is 1214.

The complete paper can be uploaded via the yellow marked link “Upload Contribution”. Furthermore, it is possible to adjust the submission's meta data ('Edit Contribution Details').
